Maralyn and Norm are off to Victoria and Vancouver soon… two of my favorite places on earth. I know they will love this Lush Crush from the Crush Champagne Lounge. The crush offers 40 varieties of sparkling wine and champagne, live music and literary launches.

Lush Crush

2 fresh, red, ripe, juicy strawberries
1dash of sugar syrup
2 lime wedges
2 oz or more, to taste, of Absolut Kurant Vodka

Muddle berries, syrup and lime in bottom of cocktail shaker.

Add vodka and ice.

Shake and strain or double strain into a chilled champagne flute.
Top with champagne and decorate with a strawberry slice or wedge.
