Well, it does seem a tad early to be thinking about Thanksgiving, unless you are Canadian. Since it is my favorite holiday, I enjoy planning it for months.

Last November, while heading north to Vermont, I found the perfect turkey dinner wine. It is called Apple-Maple. Made in Putney County, it is a uniquely rich, semi-dry wine with heirloom apples lightly blended with pure Vermont maple syrup.
