I found it! After extensive research, I have discovered the perfect wine for nearly every occasion.

After a generous sample, I bought a bottle for tonight. My Aunt Eileen is 88 today, on 8.8.08.

The name is Rosa Regale, crafted in one of Italy’s smaller production areas.

How I wish The Hill Team had discovered this refreshing sparking wine when we walked our way through Tuscany’s vineyards, many Septembers ago.

Rosa Regale smells and tastes of delicate roses and raspberries.

This rose pairs especially well with cheeses, fruit, nuts, chicken, veal and pork. I liked it with the Peppered Strawberries… featured on our blog under Tastes.

You can also find some great recipes on the Rosa Regale website.
