SIPS Oregon Rain Drop Cocktail

When the Hill Team recently visited Brandy Peak Distillery in Brookings, Oregon, we had a wonderful time. In addition to seeing the modern facilities inside and an old still outside stilled used for distilling their award winning brandies, we also enjoyed a tasting of their different products.

Our story on the history will follow soon.

Some of the wonderful ingredients that help make up Oregon come together in this attractive and tasty cocktail. Minty aromas of the rain forest are combined with the ripe, earthly flavors of our Pear Brandy. Deliciously chilled with frozen Oregon rainwater, topped with a dash of sea foam and highlighted with a cherry for good luck!

In a cocktail shaker add one crushed mint leaf, a pinch of sugar, 1-1/2 ounce of Brandy Peak Pear Brandy and ice to cover. Shake vigorously until well combined. Very lightly salt the rim of a martini or tulip shaped glass and fill with Pear Brandy mixture. Top with a dash of whipped cream and a cherry.

Enjoy!
