The Hill team loves fresh raspberries.

If you do mot make your own puree, this cocktail works well with raspberry liqueur.

Berry Good, Raspberry Martini

Ingredients:

2 ounces raspberry flavored vodka
2 ounces sour mix.
1 ounce of Razzmatazz or other raspberry liqueur
1 Tablespoon of sparkling wine, 7-Up or Sprite (Optional)

Directions:

Mix all chilled ingredients and pour into a chilled martini glass, straight up. The color is like rubies.

For more pizazz we dip the rim of the glass in lemon sugar.

For garnish we like fresh raspberries skewered on a long toothpick. Or a wheel of lemon for taste and color contrast.

Adding a few splashes of sparkling wine, 7-up or Sprite at the end on the top makes this sip effervescent.

We serve lightly salted cashews, almonds, pecans or mixed nuts with this cocktail.

Cheers!
