On March 23rd I joined Lisa Smith and Nancy Reid on The Big Blend
Blog Talk Radio Show, Eat, Drink & Be Merry! This is always a high energy show I enjoy co-hosting.

This show featured organic and fair trade organizations with earth friendly and healthy food,

The line-up included Tim Young of Food For Thought.

From Michigan, Tim has an interesting assortment of jams and other delicious artisan foods. You can also check out Tim’s bio.

Mimi Wheeler a friend and neighbor of Tim told us all about her
Grocers Daughter Chocolates. Mimi is originally from Denmark and has transferred what she learned growing up to a wonderful business in the U.S. Lisa and Nancy say her chocolates are fantastic. I’ve not tried them yet, but they sure sounded fantastic.

Edward Field called in from Spain. Originally from Oregon, Edward now lives in Spain and brings in organic wines from Europe. The name of his company is Natural Merchants. Nancy and Lisa were together enjoying his Cava. Their praise for the tastings they conducted were high. Natural Merchants is certainly worth checking out. Whole Foods carries the wines they import.

The next guest was Tina Ruggerio talking about cooking with Driscoll’s organic berries and the health benefits of berries – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries. Tina’s website has a wealth of knowledge. You can learn more about her at Gourmet Nutritionist.
Her site: www.gourmetnutritionist.com

Last but certainly not least was Chef Jerard Wells, “The Chef of Love.” Chef Wells certainly has the passion for food and turns cooking into a sensual experience. It was a delightful way to conclude Eat, Drink & Be Merry!. We were certainly all merry.
