As warmer weather approaches the Hill Team likes more smoothies. We like almost any combination, but this one is really tasty.

Peach-Blackbeerry Almond Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups enriched vanilla soy milk (I use low fat or fat free)

2 cups frozen peaches

1 cup frozen blackberries

2 tablespoons chopped almonds

2 tablespoons honey (I use stevia to taste–be careful it is very sweet).

Directions

Combine ingredients in blender.

Blend until smooth and thick to ensure almonds are chopped fine.

Serve.

Note: I generally use non-fat or low fat milk and substitute stevia for sugar or honey. You can grown your own stevia and one leaf will sweeten an entire pitcher of tea or a quart of fresh fruit. I use the liquid stevia in the winter or the granulated.

Fix two and toast–cheers!

Culinarily yours,
