Sam’s clean and dirty Martini’s from Pattigeorges, known as PG’s on Longboat Key, Fl is a favorite.

PG’s is next to my Island office. When I work past five and begin to head home, I can see the cars, bicycles and boats pulling in for the local cocktail hour. Since Sam is the best bartender I know, sometimes I cannot resist. The fine coastal cuisine is as good as the drinks.

Sam’s Clean and Dirty Martini’s

3 parts (ounces) gin (Sam and I prefer Plymouth)
few dashes of olive juice to taste
shaken or stirred
serve straight up in a cold martini glass
garnish with slice of cucumber and two olives

Cheers!
