Cheers! The Hill team recently enjoyed a sublime time wining and dining in the historic harbor town of Rockland, Maine. Although we enjoyed some of the best blueberry pies we ever tasted (even for breakfast) from the Captain Lindsay House, and The Berry Manor Inn, part of the Historic Inns of Rockland, Maine, it was too early to pick our own local blueberries.

This drink was inspired by a cocktail seen on the Food Network. It appears in our upcoming book – Cheers. Rockland has now been discovered as a culinary destination. Bobby Flay was there. Rachael Ray was on her way! This Bluetini is our special toast to The Historic Inns of Rockland, for a happy 4th of July celebration. Cheers!

Bluetini
Into a small pitcher, pour equal parts of:
blueberry vodka
vanilla vodka
orange liquer (there is an orange liquer that is blue in color)
Stir.
Add the 3 part mix to a glass of ice.
This it it-the Bluetini.
You can add some fresh or frozen (keeps drink cold) blueberries as a garnish.
If it is the 4th, try a raspberry garnish for red and blue.
