Norm and I had the pleasure of meeting Ariel Uson of the Philippines when we sailed on Holland America’s ms Statendam. We featured his video and Apricot Cosmo on a May 15, 2009 post. However, we were fortunate in having him make a Tropical Cable Car for us. It was delicious and we hope you enjoy.
Tropical Cable Car
2 grapefruit sections
1 ounce Captain Morgan
1 ounce coconut rum
1 ounce lemon lime sour
1 ounce pineapple juice
Directions:
Chill glass with ice.
Muddle grapefruit in tall glass (crush)
Add ice cubes.
Add the rest of the ingredients into the glass.
Put shaker top on glass.
Shake well for 6-10 seconds.
Poor through strainer into a martini glass.
Garnish with a slice of pineapple.
