“A journey is best measured in friends rather than miles.” Tim Cahill

The Tandem Tasters are off to the Temecula Valley area of California this week. After the Taste of Fallbrook judging, we will explore the charms of the valley and beyond.

While we know the wine-related areas of northern and central California, southern California’s Temecula Valley has over 21 vineyards and wineries.

This is about a one hour drive from San Diego and Orange County’s John Wayne Airport via 1-15.

Whether we drive, hike or visit some vineyards by horseback, (for beginners and experienced riders) we are anxious to explore and write about the beautiful countryside, the wines and chefs of the Temecula Valley.
