As a treat the Tandem Tasters jumped off their brooms to bring grown up Halloween cheer.

For wine, we recommend Vampire. Vampire is made with several varietals of grapes such as pinot noir from California’s central coast. We enjoy this red with meats and pasta.

For an autumn cocktail, Michelle Locke, recommends this one in her Libations column.

Smashing Pumpkin Martini
Ingredients
3 oz infused spiced pumpkin vodka
1 oz amaretto

Method
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Stir gently and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Tip: Garnish with toasted pumpkin seeds.
Boo!
