See something new this April in Sarasota & Her Islands

Savvy travelers know that spring and fall are the ideal time to visit Sarasota and her islands. I love to travel, everywhere, but try to be here for perfect weather, less visitors and lower prices in the shoulder seasons. You can usually walk into the best restaurants with “no reservations.”

The boutique Hotel Indigo is my top recommendation for staying in Sarasota. If I did not live here I would stay in this charming place more often. The rooms are warm and inviting. There is plenty of parking. You can walk to Main Street, Ringling Museum and the Sarasota Bay. Yet, it is quiet. There is a free shuttle to the Sarasota airport.

I love to spend time in the hot tub, or the little bar. Fresh croissants are served for breakfast. This hotel reminds of my favorite places in Europe. The prices are reasonable and the staff is excellent.

My airline pilot friends are trying to keep it a secret, but the word is out, so book early.
