We frequently write about Temecula Valley, CA. It is a delightfully fun place to visit with activities, charm and great wine. Temecula offers many good tour companies. However, I’ve always found it a challenge to determine who I’ll use. I’d like to tell you a little about one I know is great, but it is for small groups of six and less.

WINEormousWINEormous says, “We’re not wine snobs, we just like good wine.” Tom Plant, owner, does a great job with his customized tours.

The WINEormous van holds a maximum of 7 passengers, so your experience will be intimate. This will provide you with the opportunity to tailor you wine excursion to specific requests while Tom shares his knowledge of the valley, wineries and people.

You can visit the smallest boutiques wineries, the largest, or a mixture. Your food may be a box lunch with the freshest ingredients or a gourmet sit down meal.

Since Temecula Old Town has numerous tasting rooms, Tom can lead you through a walking tour as well as fine dining options.

Wine Maker Don Rhea says, “You’re rapidly becoming a fixture within our wine community… It’s nice to have someone like you being around and reporting on all the happenings in wine country. It was definitely a missing piece of our puzzle. I hope you’re enjoying your new status as our own Tom Plant of WINEormous!”

Roger Paige of socalwinenews.com says, “When you do a wine tasting adventure with Tom, you are treated to a more intimate and personal experience. I had to add the word adventure because it’s not your average tasting. You get something that you will absolutely not get anywhere else or even on your own.”

The above two quotes sum up Tom’s expertise, so it doesn’t make sense to try and expand. I will add that I’ve known Tom just about a year now, and I’ve found him knowledgeable and fun as well as some I’d recommend without hesitation.

By the way, Tom did not ask for this post. I imagine, he’ll be surprised. I’m posting this because I think you deserve the best experience possible visiting Temecula and Tom can offer one of the best. You can find WINEormous on Facebook and Twitter and follow what Tom is doing.
