Tom Douglas, along with his wife and business partner, Jackie Cross are restaurateurs extraordinaire. Certainly well-known in Seattle and throughout the U.S., they have come up with a fundraising event that we would certainly attend if our visit to Seattle was longer.

On Saturday, August 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. they are having the Inaugural Salmon Supper fundraising event.

The location is Victor Steinbrueck Park, at the corner of Virginia and Western Avenue.

Here is the great part, this supper only costs $15.

Enjoy a hearty salmon dinner among the splendor of Seattle’s Pike Place Market!

Tom says, “The goal of the event is to celebrate this historic  area of the city and inspire a commitment to increase park security and generate consistent, positive community presence in the area.”

All proceeds will benefit the Seattle Parks Department and the Pike Place Senior Center.

This is sponsored by Tom Douglas Restaurants and Starbucks Coffee.

What a great contribution and delicious evening!
