Blueberry Bubbly!!!

The plump, purple blueberries are ripe and ready for picking in New England. I will be there to go lobstering in the famous, old, seaside town of Gloucester, Mass.

I found a tasty and simple new sip for all the blueberrys I will be picking.

Blueberry Bubbly

Ingedients for 2 berry bubblies

About 4 – 6 tablespoons-to taste-of Blueberry Juice Cocktail.

1/2 glass of sparkling wine or champagne

Fresh blueberries

Method

Add 2-3 tablespoons of blueberry juice to a chilled flute champagne glass.

Fill glass with dry sparkling wine.

Plop in some fresh blueberries, or thread a thin skewer with the berries for a more fancy garnish.

Tips:

We used Korbel California  sparkling wine and OceanSpray Blueberry Juice Cocktail.

If making this drink for children substitute sparkling water and add more juice for extra vitamin C.

This a perfect refresher for those last hot days of summer.
