After hearing the name, I had to find this tasty blue cocktail. A friend, Marilyn, recently returned from a photographers dream trip to the Galapagos. The Blue-Footed Booby is a charming bird with blue feet.
Blue-Footed Booby
Ingredients

2 oz rum
4 oz pineapple juice
.5 Blue Curacao
1 oz cream

Method

Combine all ingredients in a blender.
Serve in a wine glass.

Tips:

If you can’t find it, try these liquors in place of rum. Cachaca, a Brazialian liquor, or Cana Manabita, a sugar cane product from Ecuador.

Optional garnish is a fresh pineapple spear.

I preferheavy cream, but one could use a lighter cream.

I love grated nutmeg on creamy or rummy drinks-piña coladas, rum runners and this Blue-Footed Booby.
