The Villa Renaissance is a lovely property on Grace Bay in the Turks and Caicos. The Hill team enjoyed the pristine beach, infinity pool, the charming suites and the entire staff. The Teona Spa was an afternoon of total tranquility.

I especially enjoyed meeting the genial bartender, Clifton, known as “Skip’. Although he was born in Miami, he was raised on the North Caicos, a boat ride away from Providenciales.

He demonstrated his favorite local cocktail, and now mine, called The Provo Blues.

The Provo Blues Cocktail
Ingredients

2 oz Bambarra Gold rum. This is the delicious rum blended, bottled and sold in the Turks and Caicos.
1 oz Triple Sec
splash of Blue Curacao
splash of Sprite

Method

Fill a tall glass with ice.
Add rum, Triple Sec and a splash of Blue Curacao and Sprite to taste.

The Provo Blues mirrors the deep blue pool and Caribbean colors of the water.
