Pe’che’s Gourmands…Delectable cookies, chocolates and biscuits

When you walk the worlds most famous food show for five days there are only so many tastes once can sample. Maralyn and I were on one of our quests to discover the best of the best. Pe’che’s Gourmand’s exquisite display of fresh aromatic cookies commanded our attention. Every cookie, chocolate and biscuit was lovingly prepared and displayed in a traditional basket or tin box like a painting. Both of us were drawn to the welcome whiff of almonds in their moist, yet crunchy nut cookies

Somehow we were able to save them for when we returned to our hotel later in the day.   We were tired, cold and hungry for a simple treat and pick-me-up. These cookies, with a pot of hot honey and lemon tea was one of those simple moments of flavor to savor.
