Today, Norm and I landed in Seattle and ventured to Willows Lodge in Woodinville, Washington. After checking in, we walked into town to have lunch at Purple Cafe and Wine Bar.

We started with a creamy mushroom soup with blue cheese and walnuts–thick, creamy, and delicious.

I moved on to some Tiger prawns, house marinaded with shoe string frites. The shrimp were sauteed with a touch of cream at the end and the potatoes had garlic herb butter.

Norm enjoyed the grilled salmon sandwich with homemade bread and tarter sauce.

All around this was deliciously fun!
