When we lived in New England, most of the men wore navy blue blazers. This drink, named after Blazer attire, tastes great after a cold morning outdoors, at the hunt, or a football game.

The  Blazer Cocktail

Ingredients
2 parts Irish Whiskey
1 part honey
2 parts water-can be 1 or 3 parts to taste

1/2 part lemon juice
.

Method
Pour all ingredients into a pan. Heat very gently to dissolve honey.
Place a spoon in a short tumbler–keeps it from cracking.
Pour drink slowly into glass.
If you wish, serve with a cinnamon stick.
We sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top.
