Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share our policy on guest posts. Posts from other food, wine, and travel writers are welcome. If you only want to post once a quarter or so, I will do them. If you would like to post once a month or more, you will be set up as a contributor, have a password, and be able to post directly. It will go into a que for editing and approval and then posted. This will ensure a quicker post date.

Learning what is effective in the cureent trends is an ongoing task. I’ve discovered the value of featuring guests and doing guest posts on other sites.

Contributors would have a paragraph about themselves as well as a jpg head shot and one or two links to their website and/or blog.

Guidelines:

Posts are best at 600 words or less. If what you have is longer, please break it into two  parts.

They should incude at least one jpg, category, and key word tags.

As owner of the site, I have sole descrition as to not post inappropriate material.

This blog is not meant to slam properties or destinations.  It focuses on the postive not the negative. If you did not like a place, please don’t waste your time by sending it. On the other hand, their is nothing wrong with saying someing like, “You may want to double your budget for taxi fares in such and such, as they are higher than expected, or I liked everything but the———.” Hints and suggestions are also welcome. Just not slamming.

This blog goes to FoodBuzz, Foodie BlogRoll, Travel Blog Roll, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.

If you are interested, please reply and I will contact you.

Best,

Maralyn
