Two days ago we featured the “Reverse” Margarita  from Clement Créole Shrubb. While we wereattending the Grand Tasting at theKennebunkport Festival, Clement Créole Shrubb featured many cocktails as well as their fine selection of liquor.

We had food, wine, drinks and absolute wonderful artwork at the Grand Tasting as we overlooked the ocean. The Créole Royale was another hit.

Créole Royale

Ingredients:

1 oz. Clement Créole Shrubb

5 oz. chilled Brut Champagne

1 dash of Angostura bitters

Method:

In a chilled champagne flute, add Créole Shrubb and gently pour Champagne on top until the glass is full.

Add a dash of bitters and stir.

(This cocktail is easily modified by adding a splash of grapefruit juice, and other bartenders have modified it to use some fruits as well.)

Cheers!
