Finally! Our Inn on Biltmore Estate’s much-requested pimento cheese recipe has been let loose. Enjoy.

Pimento Cheese BLT Tea Sandwich

Ingredients:• 1 cup Cream Cheese
• ½ cup Shredded Cheddar
• ½ cup Shredded Smoked Cheddar
• 1 cup Small Diced Pimento
• ½ cup mayo
• 2 tblsp Cracked Black Pepper

Method:

Soften the cream cheese by leaving at room temp for a while or microwave until soft. Add all the ingredients in a mixer and combine until smooth and fully incorporated. Spread the pimento cheese on a nice piece of sourdough bread. Cut to shape of your liking and top with a piece of apple wood smoked bacon and micro greens or choice of lettuce. Substitute arugula or Frisee.Wine Pairing:Pair with Biltmore® Pinot Grigio
