Blood Orange Bubbly (or Mimosa)

By Maralyn Hill and Brenda Hill ‘The Tandem Tasters’
Ingredients

1/2 sparkling wine (or more to taste)

1/2 fresh blood orange juice (we like Italian Volcano Blood Orange Juice)

Method

Pour chilled juice and wine into a frosted flute glass.

Serve over ice if you wish. No garnish needed.

This healthful summer celebration is the shade of a summer sunset. We like it on its own on a warm afternoon. For summer brunch, we serve this cocktail with cheese, quiche, pear and pecan salad, or chilled fruit soup.
