Our friend and co-author, French Master Chef,Herve Laurent, keeps urging the Hill Team to eat breakfast, the most important meal of the day. We know he is right and this meal helps with

nutrition and weight maintenance.
When there is little time, this is my go to breakfast or healthful snack. Since living on a boat and camper in California this summer, I am still enjoying finding recipes with only a few ingredients. This orange smoothie provides vitamin C for a cold and flu season boost.
I discovered this treat at the Sarasota PhillipiFarmhouse Market (farmhousemarket.org).
Try to use fresh local oranges and juice if you are lucky enough to find them in the winter months.
We are fortunate to have over 18 farm markets in the Sarasota area.

I sometimes add a pinch or two of grated nutmeg on top. You can also toss a handful of
sunflower seeds or almonds for added nutrition, flavor and crunch.
