Sunday, was so relaxing, we did not get our writing done. We slept until almost nine, late for us, and simply explored and relaxed on our first day at sea. Since we upgraded to a spa verandah suite, we discovered what it includes besides our wonderful soft robes, Bose speakers, and free laundry. We get to pack clean clothes to go home, yeah.

We ate lite, as we new we were going to try Tamarind for dinner. Tamarind is a mixture of Pan-Asian cuisine and had a $15 sur charge for dinner. However, you can try it out for lunch complimentary.

The atmosphere is so relaxing and the service outstanding. We both like champagne, and a winemaker friend recommends champagne as beverage of choice with Asian food, so we took his advice.

We each started with a different soup, pot stickers, and Maralyn had duck and Norm had scallops and prawns. For dessert, we enjoyed a wonderful tempura ice cream with lemon grass vanilla sauce and chopped mangos. It offered a perfect ending with a lovely cup of tea.

 

To finish the evening, we enjoyed the show in the Main Stage Theatre. The Eurodam Singers and Dancers were outstanding. Between their energy and talent, the broad age range of the crowd left the theatre on a high note.

 

Even though we took the time to keep up our email, the day was a pleasure to be treasured by both of us.
