In general, most of you who follow this site are not food, wine, travel writers or blog on the subject. However, some of you are and I wanted to open up this wonderful opportunity. It is only appropriate for those who are journalists or bloggers who blog on the food, wine or travel topic. We still have a few spots open for our very special conference in Hawaii the end of May, but our registration ends on March 15, 2013.

This conference is going to be very special and quite difficult to duplicate. Check out the itinerary. Michelle M. Winner, IFWTWA president, is fourth generation Hawaiian born and has pulled out the stops and connections to make this an unforgettable event. So, if you have ever considered joining the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association, now is the perfect opportunity. We are offering a special membership price to accompany registration for Hawaii. What I like about it, is in addition to allowing you to participate in our outstanding conference with a guest, you will be able to determine if  the association is beneficial to you.

You will learn what Hawaii is doing to sustain culture, land and feed its people. There is so much to this state that most tourists do not discover. After looking at itinerary and checking out post trips, please apply, if you want to share a phenomenal experience.

PLEASE ADD $75 to the total application cost to join IFWTWA as a new member (special membership until 12/31/2013). Then go to www.ifwtwa.org and sign up for membership http://ifwtwa.org/membership. Fill out completely. Application will be vetted and you will be advised of membership in order for your conference registration to proceed. On application for membership, put in “sending check” so it does not take you to PayPal. Our Executive Director, Patty Anis, can assist you, admin@ifwtwa.org. On the application, you will need two or three urls to articles on food, wine or travel within the past two years or a book. The other alternative is a blog on topic that has been active at least six months.
