Many of our regular followers have wondered why I’ve not personally been as active as usual on Where and What in the World?  It certainly has not been intentional, but rather a lack of having too many projects at one time. Rather than make excuses, I’m going to share the projects as they cover food, wine, travel, fashion, and just about everything.

Feb. 2014 Luxe Beat Magazine Cover

Just about a year ago, Sherrie Wilkolaski and I were discussing  luxury magazines. After some brain-storming, we said to each other at the same time, “We could do this.” Hence the start of Luxe Beat Magazine, Where Quality Meets Luxury. Sherrie is the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Partner and I’m Executive Editor. It was introduced at the International Emmys November 25, 2013. Our first digital issue came out two weeks ago.

We are very excited, as we got 5k visitors in Dec, 5k in Jan and Feb looks like it will easily hit 25k. Our growth has been organic.

We have such a wonderful consortium of esteemed and talented editors, writers and photographers, we are quite fortunate.

If you like what you read on the website, you can sign up for our RSS feed. If you prefer Facebook you can follow Luxe Beat Magazine at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Luxe-Beat-Magazine/691177247568667.

Our March digital issue will be out near the end of the week.

Is there more, yes. The first and second book that Brenda C. Hill and I wrote together has just come out in its second edition as an ebook. The print edition should be out before May. I’ve updated contact information for all of the chefs that were still active with their email contacts and/or websites.  The covers have been changed so it is evident that they are the second edition.
