Growing up in Chicago many decades ago, I don’t tire of watching this lovely video created by photographer, Eric Hines. It took him two years to complete, and I imagine the numbers of viewers who play and replay this will easily equal that amount of time. I need to thank my cousin for sharing this great video.

I grew up in the city, moved away; moved back to the suburbs, then the city; moved away; and now just go back to visit when I can. Usually, not in the middle of winter, as I do remember Chicago winters well.  Eric Hines did a wonderful job of capturing the old and the new and bring it all to live. This is a video I had to share, as I feel it is quite special. Thank you Eric and I hope you Chicago fans enjoy. Those who are not from Chicago, see a glimpse of what the “windy city” has to offer.
