I am happy that National and International Tequila Day is on a Sunday. We plan to celebrate with  Bloody Maria’s at brunch.

Although Maralyn and I are partial to our friends at Sr. Rio, who doesn’t enjoy the Patron experience?  Especially the spicy, fruity, smoky, specials from Mexico.

We were delighted with the innovative and aggressive tequila samples at the deluxe Four seasons and St. Regis properties in Punta Mita, Mexico this year.

My daughter, Robin, adds big flavor to her classic margaritas, by rimming the glass with salty, habanero crystals.

You may want to try a few tequila cocktails crafted with summer citrus ingredients.
