Asia is known for its exotic locations and sweeping views of different types of landscapes. Many people explore the location in each season of the year to learn more about the different kinds of cultures and to enjoy new experiences. When you want to enjoy a memorable experience, there are a few unique sights to visit that can only be found in Asia.

 

  1. Java, Indonesia

Java features a pitch black sulfuric crater where you can find miners working tirelessly next to vibrant blue flames. Although it looks like magic, the color of the flames is created from sulfuric gasses that interact with stinky smoke in the air. The backdrop is also an acid green lake that makes for an unusual, but beautiful sight. You can enjoy plenty of thrill and adventure at Java where you can hike on the rough terrain and be surrounded by other volcanos and green forests that are present in the area. It will make for an incredible place to photograph and will be surreal to experience while you’re in the moment. Bring a pair of hiking boots, a canteen for water, and sunglasses while trekking through the location.

India

  1. Taj Mahal, India

Be on site at daybreak at the Taj Mahal to experience it when it’s not overpacked with tourists. The building features Mughal architecture and was built for over 20 years. The shimmering white marble changes color in the sunlight and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983. The central dome is 240 feet high and includes four towers and small domes that also present. The tomb of Mumtaz Mahal is present at garden level and the fake tomb is at the octagonal marble chamber, which is adorned with precious stones.

 

  1. Tiger’s Nest, Bhutan

Tiger’s Nest is a 17th-century structure that is built on a steep mountainside and is situated 10,200 feet above Paro Valley in Bhutan. The temple was initially built in the 1400s with expansions that later were constructed in the late 1600s. 15 different temples are present at Tiger’s Nest, where you can view various types of wall paintings. You can hike to the location while enjoying being surrounded by the countryside and plotted fields that make it one of the most beautiful places in the world.

 

  1. Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Ha Long Bay is located in Vietnam and is a common place to find boats and kayaks that litter the waters. The bay is a stunning place to take a boat tour where you’ll get the chance to see towering limestone islands, emerald waters, and lush rainforests. It’s included in the lists of natural wonders of the world and has been recorded in the old books of the country. At Ha Long Bay, you can dine in one of the caves, go for a swim, shop by visiting local vendors, and go kayaking when you want a slower way of getting around in the serene setting.

Japan

  1. Mount Fuji in Japan

When you travel Japan, visiting Mount Fuji will make for an unforgettable experience due to the vast size of the active volcano. Mount Fuji is located approximately 62 miles from Tokyo and is the tallest peak in the country. It’s known as one of Japan’s three sacred mountains where many people come to participate in a summit hike. The volcano is shaped perfectly and last erupted in 1707. It is most visible during the colder months of the year due to clouds that are often present.

 

Visiting Asia will allow you to have access to some of the most beautiful locations and unusual sights in the world. By discovering some of the top tourist destinations, you can have new stories to tell and learn more about the attractions and natural wonders of the world.
