CINCO DE MAYO COCKTAILS
Red Lady

 

Ingredients:

The Botanist Gin – 2oz.

Cointreau – 1 oz.

Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice – 1 oz.

Julienned Red Bell Pepper

Homemade Orange Bitters – 3 Drops

Method:

1.       In a shaker, muddle the red bell pepper, then add all remaining ingredients

2.       Shake without ice vigorously, then add ice and shake briskly

3.       Strain into a Coupe Glass

4.       Garnish with a strip of julienned Red Bell Pepper.

Wasabi Witchu

 

Ingredients:

The Botanist Gin – 1.5 oz.

Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice – 1 oz.

Simple Syrup – .75 oz.

Cucumber Slices – 6

Fresh Wasabi – .5 teaspoon

Fresh Mint Leaves – 4-6 leaves

Method:

1.       In shaker, muddle cucumber slices and mint together

2.       Add remaining ingredients to shaker

3.       Fill with ice and shake

4.       Strain into rocks glass and add additional ice

5.       Garnish with cucumber slice and mint sprig

Citrus Fizz

Ingredients:

The Botanist Gin – 1.5 oz.

Cointreau – 1 oz.

Fresh Lime Juice – .75 oz.

Bitters – 2 dashes

Fresh mint leaves – 5-8

Soda Water – 6 oz.

Method:

1.       Add The Botanist Gin, Cointreau and Fresh Lime Juice to shaker

2.       Add 2 dashes of bitters and 5-7 mint leaves to shaker

3.       Fill with ice and shake

4.       Strain into a Highball Glass

5.       Top with Soda Water

6.       Garnish with a mint sprig

KENTUCKY DERBY RECIPES
Smoke Show

Ingredients:

The Botanist Gin -2 oz.

Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice – 1 oz.

Ginger Syrup – 1 oz.

Mezcal – .25 oz.

Orange Bitters  – 4 Drops

Method:

1.       Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker

2.       Fill with ice and shake

3.       Strain into a Coupe Glass

4.       Garnish with pickled ginger

Ingredients:

The Botanist Gin – 1.5 oz.

Fresh Grapefruit Juice – .25 oz.

Elderflower liquor – .75 oz.

Tonic Water – 6 oz.

Grapefruit for garnish

Method:

1.       Pour The Botanist Gin, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, Elderflower Liquor into Highball Glass

2.       Add ice

3.       Top with tonic water

4.       Garnish with grapefruit peel

Fresh Lime Juice – .75 oz.

Simple Syrup – .50 oz.

Fresh Basil Leaves

Method:

1.       In shaker, add The Botanist Gin, fresh lime juice, simple syrup and 5 fresh basil leaves

2.       Fill with ice and shake

3.       Strain into a Cocktail Glass

4.       Garnish with basil leaf
