Where to Celebrate Oktoberfest in the US?  Consider Cincinnati, Ohio’s Zinzinnati, one of the most beer-history-rich cities, and home to some of the oldest breweries in the country.  Even the Cincinnati Zoo’s newborn hippo Fiona has a craft beer named after her!

.

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, presented by Samuel Adams and Amazon, is America’s largest Oktoberfest from September 21-23, 2018. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati showcases the rich German heritage of Southwest Ohio, as well as a TON of tasty samples of German-style music, food and beer. First held in 1976, the event has grown to be America’s largest Oktoberfest with more than 575,000 people attending each year.

In addition – the event is family-friendly, with fun activities like “Running of the Wieners”, where 100 dachshunds race down the street in hot dog bun costumes! There are bands and performances all weekend long on multiple stages, as well the world’s largest “chicken dance” that became a tradition at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati and encourages kids & adults to join in on the fun.
