If you’ve ever been to another country or even just another state, you’ll know that driving culture can change dramatically. Some laws are so bizarre that The Zebra decided to compile a list and make this infographic of the strange driving laws worldwide.

Laws are meant to keep safety and order and usually they do just that, but sometimes laws are just plain weird. After all, people have been doing bad things for as long as we have been able to make choices and laws have to be made to stop people from doing so. But lots of times, this means that we are left with old, outdated, or strange laws that affect many of us just because of a few bad apples.

From Alabama to the Philippines, this list covers it all. Check it out and make sure not to break any of these strange laws on your next trip!
