The Arizona Blue Ribbon Pie Round-Up & Bake-Off is an official Arizona Centennial Event!

Join us in sponsoring the 1st annual Arizona Blue Ribbon Pie Round-Up and Bake-Off. You’ll get a lot of publicity, and the Gilbert School System will benefit.
What do we need, the list is long:

Pie Show

The Event:
This unique culinary competition combines the sounds, smells and tastes of Arizona’s history. Young Chefs, Amateur, Professional and Commercial bakers present their savory, sweet or centennial pies for public tastings. The public will decide the winners in each category, as well as the Best of Show.

Benefits:
The Arizona Blue Ribbon Pie Round-Up & Bake-Off will feature entertainment and activities that highlight Arizona’s history, cooking and local foods. This event is family-friendly, smoke and alcohol-free and benefits Gilbert Public Schools.

Why am I involved? I relish talented cooks, chefs, creations, and creativity. Besides enjoying epicurean explorations, I recognize the need to support providing opportunities for a better education. Pies played an important part in Arizona history. It seemed like the perfect combination when Pam and I were brainstorming.
