Your family can explore the history of Ibiza at a number of locations.  The Puig des Molins is a well preserved Phoenician burial ground with over 3,000 tombs.  The 13thcentury Santa Maria Cathedral is located in the Old Town and includes chapels, museums, a 600-year-old gold and silver holy cross, and a bell tower.  It is a beautiful building filled with history.

 

Also located in Ibiza Old Town is the Archaeological Museum, which is filled with the ancient history of Formentera and Ibiza.

 

Adventure

 

Talamanca is a great place for the sports enthusiast in your family.  Here you can go horseback riding and play tennis, amongst other sporting adventures.  In CalaLlonga, you can enjoy mountain biking and golf.

 

Located in the Mediterranean, the waters surrounding Ibiza are ideal for water sports like scuba diving and waterskiing as well. Local scuba diving and water-sports centres can provide you with a guide for safe diving.
