Traveling is fun and the whole travel experience can turn into ashes if you fall sick especially if you are a foodie and you are sick because of something you ate on the road. A lot of eateries on the road don’t offer cut to edge hygienic or delightful food. To avoid facing such issues, it’s always advised to plan your food and diet while planning your outdoor trip. Diet (1)Plan Your Diet Plan your diet in advance and carry your food items or ingredients along for a healthy and delightful food experience while you travel. If possible, carry a small stove and cook wherever you take a break. You can carry noodles and ready to eat food items to help you on the way. Breakfast Diet Breakfast is the easiest meal out of all to prepare. So, during your trip it’s quite easy to have tasty and nutritious breakfast diets. Before leaving on your trip, ensure to carry a pack of Kellogg’s or fruit loops, add some milk and you are sorted for the day. You can also have multi grain bars and ready to eat snacks with some warm milk or coffee. Lunch Diet Lunch is comparatively trickier than the breakfast as you tend to eat a lot. If you are on a trip for more than 5 days, you may not be able to carry sufficient ingredients to cook or eat. If you are on camping trip near a lake or fishing trip, fetch your meal and cook it right next to the shore and enjoy your meal. Fishes are considered to be very healthy and satisfying. You may want to catch an extra for the night or the day after, but you will have to do something about that smell. Diet Dinner Diet Though, dinners are most of the times the heaviest meals of the diet, during your trip make it simpler but nutritious. Carrying packets of dried soups is often a great way to start the dinner and then moving to salads made using vegetables or fruits. You can carry your own veggies or you may find them in the nearest local super market. In best case scenario, if you are in woods, try to find a fruit tree and you will plenty of dinner to host a party.   Side Snacks and Extra Food Items  While traveling, it’s better to carry some extra fuel or gasoline enough to start a small fire at your campsite and cook food gathered by you. Go in the woods, fetch something and cook it yourself. It is not only healthy but is also fulfilling and satisfying as you get the feeling of content and survival. Also, it is advisable to carry a lot of energy bars, Doritos and other snacks and a few frozen food items just in case you are stranded at a remote place or in case hunger strikes you in the middle of the night. In worst case scenario, if you feel sick please visit the local hospital or medic immediately. It is also advisable to have an EHIC or European Health Insurance Card when traveling in European countries including Switzerland. The card is available for free and can be applied or renewed online. The card helps in getting medical treatments at a reduced cost or free at some medical centers.
