I am back from Mexico just in time to celebrate this unique day at a favorite watering hole on  in charming Claremont, California.
The last time I indulged in the memorable green fairy was with Maralyn Hill. We were at a tiny bar on top of a very steep hill in Lyon, France, on a cold January Day. We somehow managed to maneuver back down the icy hill to our hotel before dark.
Absinthe is worth a try, if only once. And Vom Fass is the place for all mysterious and interesting adventures.
