It’s that time of year to gather friends and family at home. For holiday entertaining stories, I hope you consider this curated collection of cocktails now available on the menu at Tratto – a spirited, bar-driven restaurant in San Francisco.

Being the heart of Tratto’s “aperitivo” concept, the robust bar program lead by Beverage Director Cynthia Tran stirs up Italian-inspired favorites like the Negroni Flip, Limoncello Mule and Boulevardier di Mela. Each of these spirited concoctions showcase a fresh fall take on classics with a thoughtful twist.

Open from sunrise to last call, Tratto serves as a gathering place for breakfast, lunch, or to savor a nighttime cocktail after a show.  Located within The Marker hotel in San Francisco’s Theater District, Tratto’s flavorful menu of simple, delicious and shareable dishes are designed to be enjoyed in a communal-style setting.

We’ve provided the recipes to Tratto’s individually crafted cocktails sure to impress your guests, that are perfect to make right while watching the leaves change.

 

 

Negroni Flip

 

¾ oz Gin

¾ oz Campari

¾ oz Sweet Vermouth (Preferred: Carpano Antica)

1 WHOLE egg

Method:

Dry shake egg, combine all ingredients with ice. Hard shake. Double strain

Glass: Coupe

Garnish: Fresh grated nutmeg

 

Limoncello Mule

 

1 oz Limoncello

1 oz Vodka

Ginger Beer (Preferred: Fever Tree)

Method:

Build

Glass: Julep cup

Garnish: Lemon Wheel and Mint Sprig

 

Boulevardier di Mela

 

1 oz Apple infused Bourbon

1 oz Campari

¾ oz Sweet Vermouth

½ oz Pomegrante Juice

Method:

Stir

Glass: Nick and Nora

Garnish: Expressed Lemon peel and discard, Dehydrated Apple wheel
