Many visit the Lake District for its fabulous scenery, others for the great range of activities such scenery offers. From hiking and climbing to a simple desire for tranquillity, the region is a unique experience in England, and one so many visitors return to time and again.
Regardless of individual reasons for visiting the Lake District, one thing is for certain – everyone loves the food on offer! From the north to the south of the region there are products specific to the region, many of which are family-owned, made using traditional methods and in small batches to ensure quality.
