Bottoms up! National Tequila Day (July 24th) and National Mango Day (July 22nd) are right around the corner which means it’s time to put your mixology skills to the test!
Spindrift – the only sparkling water made with real fruit – makes for the perfect cocktail mixer. Stray away from buying traditional sugary mixers at the grocery store and spice up your bar cart with something real. Spindrift has ingredients you can trust with no added sugars or natural flavors.
Below are a few easy-to-make cocktail recipes that you can concoct for creative new twists.

By the way, I tried Spindrift about six months ago and loved it. I shared it with my family and were all had different flavors. Everyone was shocked and pleasantly surprised that the fruit tasted so fresh and there was no aftertaste. When we were in Boston the end of March, we were delighted to see it available in a deli by the train station. It is always nice when you try something new to see it so well received in the market. Spindrift is a winner.
National Tequila Day:
Ingredients:
- 1 lime
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 3 oz. tequila
- Spindrift Lime
- Ice
Method: Add ice, Cointreau, tequila, and fresh squeezed lime juice to a shaker.
Shake well.
Salt the rim of two low glasses and fill with ice.
Pour shaker evenly between the glasses.
Top with Spindrift Lime to taste.
National Mango Day:
Ingredients:
- 2 tbs maple syrup
- 2 shots bourbon or rye
- 1/2 and orange
- Spindrift Orange Mango
- Citrus bitters (or any bitters you have on hand)
- Pinch of cinnamon
Method: Add maple syrup, cinnamon, bitters, fresh squeezed orange juice, and bourbon with ice into a shaker.
Shake and strain over fresh ice and top with Orange Mango.
Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
Celebrate both!
Ingredients:
- 1-2 oz. grenadine (see directions)
- 1/2 an orange
- Ice
- 2 oz tequila
- Spindrift Orange Mango
- Fresh orange and cherries for garnish
Directions: Make grenadine (we made our own by mixing 1 part 100% pomegranate juice to 1 part sugar – then heating and stirring until fully dissolved).
In a tall glass, add ice, tequila and freshly squeezed orange half. Stir.
Then gently pour in the grenadine (it will sink to the bottom and create that pretty color) and top with Spindrift Orange Mango.
Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
