Almond Cookie Crisps & Crumbs Photo B C Hill

Almond Cookie Crisps

The label read “Eat soon after opening.” Since I always follow directions, I did just that. I could not help devouring these delightful cookies in one day.
.
Since I am generally not fond of sweet cookies, my plan was to try only one or two. This is not possible with these crunchy, savory, light, little, puffy bites of heaven. I double dare our readers to eat only one.
.
To me, Almond Crisps are a cross between a cookie and a cracker. They pair well with my morning coffee, afternoon tea, an evening glass of wine, and then, if any are left, for dessert. What a perfect crunchy, nutty taste with ice-cream or pudding.
This product would make an ideal hostess gift. No problem to “Eat soon after opening.”
.
Made in France by Maison Bruyere (1964) these almond puffed delicacies can be found at Dodo Brands in New York.
