Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum

Time for another neighborhood holiday beach blast before the two senoras, Maralyn and I, head back to Mexico. Tecate, in Baha California,  is know for delicious Mexican beer.
Since I will be living and traveling in a sailboat or camper this month, I have come up with some simple recipes for summertime. This one is adapted from The Chew on the food network.
Ingredients:
I gallon of freshly made ice tea with sugar or honey to taste
5 cups of spiced rum
Splashes of lemon juice
Lemon wheels or mint for garnish
Method:
Mix ingredients together in a large pitcher or Jug. I use two large Mason jars to keep one icy cold.
Serve in tall glasses filled with ice.
Garnish, if desired, with mint or and lemon wheels
Tip
There are several tasty spiced rums. My boating and chef friends prefer Sailor Jerry Caribbean rum with spice, caramel and other natural flavors.
Be careful, this rum is 92 proof and slides down easy.
