This Just In…

How our team and travel group loves it when we discover a winner. This time it is about one of our special discoveries on the pristine shores of Alabama.

After strolling the sugar white sands of Alabama’s gold coast, we were, as usual, famished.

Nothing could taste better than the authentic fried green tomatoes, along with beer battered fresh fish washed down with cold draft beer. This is Jimmy Buffet style eating, drinking and singing.

LuLu’s at Homeport Marina was  recently crowned one of the top eateries by Coastal Living Magazine.
Their readers named LuLu’s one of “America’s Favorite Seafood Dives.”

As one of our most innovative cafe finds, LuLu’s offered us more than good old fashioned southern cooking We listened, sang, clapped, and danced with some great musicians. Our happy foodie group mingled with the locals and staff like old friends.

I cannot wait to return to the sandy shores, southern cooking, and warm hospitality of Alabama.
