Did you know that Cinco de Mayo is actually not Mexico’s Independence Day? (It was the day chosen to celebrate Mexico’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.) The real Mexican Independence Day is swiftly approaching (September 16th) and I wanted to reach out with a delicious Basil Margarita recipe to help you and your readers to celebrate the real Mexican Independence with Zignum Mezcal.
