While traveling, in general, will be one of the things that needs to be adapted for the current circumstance, one of the things that will not change is the national parks in the USA. Tips for visiting Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is one of those destinations that regularly features on bucket lists and will draw tourists from all over the world who wish to come to see its magnificence in person. If you are an international traveller visiting the Grand Canyon National Park after the pandemic, there are a couple of things you will need to consider.

The first thing is entry requirements. Given the current state of the world, things are rapidly changing when it comes to travel and the various bits of legislation that come with it. Given this, it has never been more important to keep up to date with the changes that are occurring, especially when it comes to visas and other entry requirements. If you are a resident of any country that is included in the visa waiver program, you will need to get an esta visa before you leave for the USA. The esta form can be filled out entirely online – all you need to do is fill out your details and pay the fee. Your application will be processed, and you will be notified electronically when your esta application has been approved or simply just esta application status. For residents of countries that do not belong to the visa waiver program, entry requirements vary. It is important that you do your research and make sure you understand the requirements that apply to you and your situation. The last thing you want is to arrive at the airport only to be denied at boarding!

The second thing you need to be aware of is the coronavirus situation. As things begin to open, we must all help to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. It is worth checking a coronavirus USA live map to confirm that there have not been any new breakouts in the area you are planning to travel to. If you keep informed, you can make the right choices for you and your traveling buddies and ensure that you are all kept safe and healthy.

3. Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park

Hawai’i is often forgotten when it comes to USA destination lists but the state has some of the most incredible natural environments. Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is one of them. Located on Hawai’i Island (also known as the Big Island), this park is an extensive area of volcanic plains that sometimes even has running lava.

While it is possible to visit Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park with a tour group, we recommend hiring your own car to explore this area. The park is huge, and you will need to factor in several hours just for driving. If you have your own car, you can stop at the sites that interest you and move at your own pace. Make it a priority to get to the back of the park where you can see the coast. The scenery is incredible and if you visit during an active period you will see lava flowing into the ocean!

4. Yellowstone National Park

Providing a true wilderness experience, Yellowstone is located across three states – Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. With huge canyons, dense forests and rushing rivers, the park has plenty to keep you entertained during your visit.
