The wedding is a magical occasion wherever it is held. Some people prefer a more traditional approach and want to have a church wedding before they go to celebrate in some luxury restaurant or venue, and others want something more exotic, like a tropical destination and a beach ceremony. If you belong to the latter group, then you probably know how hard it is to find that perfect patch of beach for your ceremony. On top of that, many of these tropical destinations often lack means and services that are essential for any kind of wedding.

Luckily for you, we have scouted some of these tropical destinations and decided to put together a list of the absolutely best ones. Just remember that you should first visit them yourself to get a feel of the atmosphere so you are certain it`s perfect for you.Beach photo Creative Commons

Jamaica

First one on our list is Jamaica, a beautiful Caribbean Island with lush green mountains and hundreds of miles of pearly white sand beaches. Jamaica is a famous tropical destination for weddings and almost every hotel offers some sort of wedding package. This is ideal for couples that don’t want to trouble themselves too much around the organization. Leave it to the professional Jamaican wedding planners to arrange everything for your special day; just remember to tell them if you want a beach, garden or mansion wedding. Also, you can come a few days earlier or stay a few days after the wedding to experience Jamaican culture and prolong your little exotic vacation.

Aruba

Aruba offers all tropical destination features, like beautiful beaches, top notch service, great hotels, but what sets it apart from other islands and destinations is its predictable weather. This Dutch Caribbean Island is located just outside of the hurricane belt and is bathed in the sun all year round. This means you won’t have to check weather forecasts and fear if it’s going to rain on your wedding day.

Yours is to choose a venue that suits you the best and relax on this wonderful occasion. There are a few types of venues you can book. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts are for more intimate weddings, Renaissance Aruba Resort offers a private island for the ceremony and the Divi group offers all-inclusive packages if you plan to bring a bunch of people.Beach Photo Creative Commons 3

Sydney, Australia

Next up on our list is Sydney, the largest city in Australia. As you might expect, it has tons of wedding venues, but some of them stand out from the others. Companies like Navarra Venues offer four different venues you can rent for your wedding and all are beautifully styled and decorated. If you want a wedding in a castle, then pick Curzon Hall. It is a sandstone castle built in 1898 or if you are looking for some vintage elegance style, then Oatlands House is perfect for you.

Even though Navarra Venues don’t organize weddings themselves, they have trusted vendors that are best in the industry and they can recommend them to you. They are a 40-year-old company so they must be doing something right.

Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic has some of the most beautiful beaches and resorts in the world and the island of Punta Cana is one of the reasons. Punta Cana is a popular destination for beach weddings because of its small villages that provide service and lively atmosphere. There are many hidden spots and private beaches you can organize your wedding on that give off a romantic and one-of-a-kind vibe.

Additionally, Punta Cana is perfect for a honeymoon. You can just stay for a week after the ceremony is over and really enjoy this little slice of heaven on earth. There are a lot of activities you can do, like surfing, scuba diving, catamaran rides, etc. Punta Cana is a perfect place for both romance and fun.Beach Photo w elephant creative commons

Moorea, Tahiti

Our last location is Moorea, Tahiti. There is nothing more romantic than a traditional Polynesian wedding ceremony at sunset on the beautiful white sand beach. A breathtaking view of the mountains will be right in front of you as native Tahitian singers sing songs and prayers to celebrate this glorious occasion. You and your guests can stay in luxurious villas placed along the bright blue lagoons.

And that is it for our list. As you can see, there are plenty of locations to choose from. From luxury wedding venues in Sydney to some more exotic and romantic ones in the Dominican Republic, there is literally something for everyone’s taste. We hope that we helped you find the ideal wedding location for you and that you will be able to organize your dream wedding. Just remember to book these places on time and most importantly, try to enjoy yourself on your special day.
